6th Workshop Plant-Insect Interactions

Introduction 

As in previous years, the Plant-Insect Interactions workshop will focus on molecular and ecological aspects of plant-insect interactions. It aims to inform about research progress, stimulate interdisciplinary discussion, enhance communication and promote future collaborations. The workshop is primarily meant for young scientists with an opportunity to discuss their work.

  

After the workshop, there will be drinks and dinner for everyone that is interested.

 

Two keynote speakers

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Toby JA Bruce from the Chemical Ecology Group of Rothamsted Research and Prof. Maus Sabelis from the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics from the University of Amsterdam will give the keynote lectures.

 

Oral presentation

We would like to invite everyone to register for an oral presentation. There are nine slots available for oral presentations of participants. Presentations should last 15 minutes, with 5 minutes of discussion afterwards. If you are interested in giving a presentation, please send us (via the link below) your (preliminary) title during registration and a short abstract (max. 300 words) that will be used for selection of presentations.

 

Poster session

During the poster session, everyone can present their work on a poster. Please indicate whether you will bring a poster.

Registration fee

The fee will be € 25,-, including lunch, drinks and dinner. You will receive an invoice that has to be paid before Wednesday November 9.
