PPC walks: Indian-summer edition 2022!
Hi everyone, with the recent drought fall has set in early this year, because of rather than despite the high temperatures. So if we want to make the most of all the fall colors Saturday September 24th will be a great time for another PPC walk!
As usual all PE&RC members are welcome to join us on an autumn walk from Rhenen to Veenendaal-West train station. This NS-wandeling will take us through a surprisingly hilly section of forest with some nice views across the Gelderse Vallei. For more info on the route check out: https://www.ns.nl/dagje-uit/wandelen/elsterberg.html. We start gathering at Rhenen train station at 11:00 and set out at 11:15, so be sure to be on time! We will likely finish by 15:00 - 16:00h. The full route is 17 km, but for those who feel this is too long there is the option of taking the Bus from Elst to Veenendaal, 11 km into the route.
As always, make sure to bring proper clothing and enough food for lunch on the road! Registration is free and can be done via this link: https://forms.gle/jJ1G4wZV863EBcXW6. (We are currently planning a mushroom walk in November as well!).
