We are pleased to invite you to attend the 9th Dutch Arbovirus Research Network (DARN) meeting on the 6th of March 2026 at Wageningen University! The DARN aims to exchange the latest scientific progress in the arbovirology field at the different institutes in the Netherlands and neighbouring countries, from different disciplines in the field such as virology, immunology, vector ecology and epidemiology. The day will be filled with presentations on the latest research within the field, as well as plenty of opportunity for discussion and networking. Below you can find more information on the type of presentations, registration and abstract submission. A preliminary program can be found below.
Presentation formats:
We welcome abstracts for two different presentation formats:
- Lecture (15 minutes): this presentation format provides the opportunity to discuss your work in-depth.
- Pitch (5 minutes): this presentation format is ideal for early-career researchers to present their research plans or ongoing work.
After lectures and pitches, there will be room for questions.
Abstract submission:
Submit your abstract (250 words) by sending a PDF version to darn2026@wur.nl before the 6th of February 2026 and indicate in the mail whether you want to give a lecture or pitch. Please name the PDF file with your surname and affiliation.
