Agriculture–Climate-Forests-Food PhD discussion group

You are here

We would like to invite you to the next Agriculture–Climate-Forests-Food PhD discussion group meeting.

Patric Brandt will present a study of his PhD that focuses on options to intensify dairy production sustainably in Kenyan highland regions. The feasibility and effectiveness of potential mitigation options are assessed, and linked to national targets such as the increase of milk productivity and Kenya’s mitigation commitment.

The presentation will be followed by a discussion with the group on:

  • the possible barriers and incentives for smallholders to adopt mitigation options on their farms
  • the opportunities for cross-sectoral integration

We welcome any PhD, postdoc or researcher who is interested in REDD+ and CSA research and/or the above topics to join this discussion meeting. There is no need to register for this session, but please use the vote buttons in this email so we know how many participants to expect.

Please share this invitation email or link with anybody who might be interested.

We look forward to seeing you there!

With kind regards,

Marijn Faling & Astrid Bos
