This month we are getting to know Justin Stewart, he is a PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
What are you passionate about in your research?
I am an ecologist and evolutionary biologist researching microbiomes, plants, and geography. Currently I am a PhD candidate in the Toby Kiers Lab at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam working on crops.
What do you currently do to de-stress?
Nonstop cooking. Currently working my way through a Vietnamese cookbook!
What are you binging on Netflix?/
Right now I am reading Identity by Milan Kundera.
If you could be any plant what would you be, and why?
A legume. I want to have nodules.
What have you been cooking lately?
Aside from the Vietnamese I am trying to perfect the omelette.
