Evaluation WU-CAAS PhD Programme for WU supervisors

Dear supervisor,

During a visit of the previous president of WUR (Louise Fresco) to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) in 2015 it was expressed that the collaboration between the two institutes should be strengthened. To this end the joint PhD programme was initiated in which you have (had) one or more PhD's. The first phase of the programme ran from 2016 to 2020 after which a second phase was initiated which ends this year with the final call for proposals being sent out in January. Currently the WUR board is contemplating a third phase of the programme.

Hence, we have developed the following questionnaire to hear your opinion of the programme. More specifically, we would like your opinion on the quality and performance of candidates, the process, the communication with CAAS counterparts and finally whether the programme indeed has initiated or strengthened collaboration. Note that individual information is treated confidentially as the survey will only be reported in a general manner.
