B-Wise Seminar, April 1st: Pjotr Prins & Astrid van den Brandt

Dear colleagues,

On Tuesday April 1st, the next B-Wise meeting will take place at 12:30h, in room C0222 in the Forum building. Lunch will be available from 12:00h onwards.

We will have two speakers:

Pjotr Prins is a bioinformatician at large & associate (coding) professor and runs a research lab at the Department of Genetics, Genomics and Informatics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He will talk about his research on the GeneNetwork.org platform for publishing and mining experimental data with genomes.

Astrid van den Brandt is a joint PhD student between TU Eindhoven (Visual Analytics) and Wageningen University (Bioinformatics) and will present her PhD thesis work on visualization methods for (pan)genomic exploration.
