PPC walks: Spring 2023

Hi Everyone,

With Christmas over and the days still woefully short it is a great time to dream of spring. With the crocuses and snowdrops rearing their heads we have planned an early spring walk on Saturday March 4th. As usual all PE&RC members are welcome to join us on a spring walk from Baarn to Hollandse Rading train station. This NS-wandeling will take us through the forest and heather fields in the North of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

To account for the local trainschedule we start gathering at Baarn train station at 11:10 and set out at 11:25, so be sure to be on time! We will likely finish by 15h-16h. The full route is 13 km, but for those who feel this is too long there is the option of taking the Bus from Lage Vuursche to Hilversum or Den Dolder, 9 km into the route.
 

As always, make sure to bring proper clothing and enough food for lunch on the road. We do have the (enticing) option of visiting the pancake restaurant at Lage Vuursche, but we can’t make a reservation there on a Saturday, so make sure you can manage with food regardless.
