International Advisory Board

You are here

The International Advisory Board advises PE&RC on the quality of its activities, particularly that of the research policy and programme and the education programme. The IAB meets at least once every two years and otherwise on call. The IAB plays a specific role as part of the six-year cycle of evaluation of PE&RC as described in the standard evaluation protocol for public research organisations in The Netherlands and adapted for Wageningen University. The IAB visited PE&RC in November 2014 to support the school and its research groups to prepare for the current evaluation. Special attention was given to the chapter on “Relevance to Society” as this element clearly has a new role and also required different content to be supplied.

  • The IAB gives advice on the documents and follow-up actions related to the external peer review
  • The IAB conducts the midterm review
